Part four
Lucio Fontana, “Concetto spaziale”, 1954-55, the largest work performed by the master in crystal and Murano glass is currently on display at the TEFAF in Maastricht until 19 March.
You can admire it at the booth 365 gallery Salamon – Old Masters (a collaboration with Studio Gariboldi).
Fontana is surrounded by exceptional works by Antonio Canaletto, Francesco Guardi, Michele Marieschi.

Part three
The work is a 60.23 inch diameter crystal with coloured glass paste stones. It was created by Lucio Fontana between 1954 and 1955.
Fontana calls it ‘spatial’.
(It is accompanied by an autograph letter from the artist, dated 30 December 1955).

A crystal with Murano glass stones was moved to the circular room of the gallery, then carefully placed inside the monumental iron structure.
We are ready to reveal who the author is and the year it was made.

Klimt e l’arte italiana
On 16 March 2023 the exhibition Klimt e l’arte italiana opens at Mart Museum in Rovereto.
The exhibition analyses Klimt’s influence on the great artists of the early 20th century, including Felice Casorati, Adolfo Wildt, Vittorio Zecchin and Luigi Bonazza.
The exhibition includes our painting, Adolfo Wildt, La Genesi, 1914.

Nobuya Abe in Japan
Nobuya Abe is not only a painter (as in ABC+P) but also a photographer. His work will be displayed in the exhibition The Spirit of “Avant-garde” Photography: The Transformation of Nothing, Chiba City Museum of Art, opening on 8 April 2023. Alongside him are the photographers Shuzo Takiguchi, Kiyoji Otsuji and Shigeo Gocho. The exhibition traces the creations of the four artists, presenting a fragment of Japan’s photographic history of the Showa era, from the 1930s to the 1980s.

Mary Bauermeister in Germany
On Saturday 8 October, the exhibition ‘1+1=3 The Art Worlds of Mary Bauermeister’ by the artist Mary Bauermeister opened at Kunsthalle zu Kiel (KIEL | GERMANY).
The exhibition will be open until 5 March 2023.
The documentary film “Mary Bauermeister – One plus One is Three” will be screened as part of the initiative.
