Projects

Art meets design

A project by Saba Italia in collaboration with Studio Gariboldi.

Some of the gallery’s works are exhibited together with design objects. Abstract and informal paintings by Nobuya Abe, Mario De Luigi, Helmut Zimmermann and Guido Strazza meet with elements conceived with a function, linked by clean shapes that keep their truthfulness.

In the picture Mario De Luigi (1901-1978), Grattage G.V. 031, 1959, oil on canvas, 37.4 x 53.1 inches
